Just Across the Bridge from Hood River

Ignore Your GPS (She Lies!)
Follow I-84 to Exit 64 (Button Bridge Road) and cross the Hood River Toll  Bridge into Washington. Turn RIGHT at the end of the bridge. Our entrance is just past the ’76 gas station on the river side of the highway.

Warning: Bridge is Narrow (9 Foot Lanes – 14′-6″ Clearance). Fold in the Driver’s Side Mirror if Possible. Drive Across Slow. There is No Hurry!

Alternate Routes for Big Rigs are:
Westbound on I-84
Exit 87 (U.S. 197) and cross the river into Washington. U.S. 197 ends at WA-14. Make a LEFT onto WA-14. The park entrance is 18 miles on the river side of the highway just past Bingen and just before the ’76 gas station. Use the center turn lane.

Eastbound on I-84
Exit 44 at Cascade Locks and cross Bridge Of The Gods (toll) into Washington. Continue 25 miles East on WA-14. The RV park entrance is just past the Hood River Bridge intersection on the river side of the highway. Look for the ’76 gas station.

Low Clearance Warnings
Washington State Highway 14 is a great scenic drive. You will see  “Low Clearance” warning signs for the tunnels. They are marked for the shoulders at the lowest point. Stay in your lane near the center line and you will have plenty of clearance.
